Lil Daddy O – Interview In the Blue Room – Part 1 of 3 – Rap Music – Visit www.KentuckyMusic.CO – Lil Daddy O is a rap artist from Louisville, KY and is the CEO of his own independent label Blockmade Records. In This interview done in 2006 he sits down with Mista Tony of Street Credit. At the time he was facing time for a conviction on drug charges but continued to do music instead of turning himself in. He was later arrested, spent time in prison and was subsequently released. He continues to record new music and has just put out a new music project. He also discusses growing up poor in the projects, some of the issues facing artists in the music industry and what motivates him to move forward. Considered one of the best unsigned artists in Louisville, Lil Daddy O has gained a tremendous following, working with a multitude of artists, touring extensively throughout the country, opening for numerous major acts. He has a released a number of projects including “Gorilla Rap” and “Project Addiction”, and is currently working on a new album, collaborating with a plethora of other talented artists. One of the featured artists on the cover of Street Credit King of the Bluegrass DVD, Lil Daddy O appeared in a number of videos, his own as well as other artists’.
