Can the VA Take Away My Disability Rating if I’m in Addiction Treatment?

Question by Daniel: Can the VA take away my disability rating if i’m in addiction treatment?
I currently have a 70% disability rating. I’m going to appeal, but i’m now in the VA’s addiction treatment program for opiate dependency (I started after i got my rating). Does anyone know if they will take away my rating for this if i appeal?

Don’t know what your 70% rating is for ???

You do not want to FILE AN APPEAL…Takes Years…
File for an upgrade using the Support of Claim Form…

Were you Wounded/IED/ etc ???
Dop you have TBI ???

Strongly suggest that you get with a DAV Rep…VSO ASAP,
and DO NOT try to do this on your own…

You now have a Label of Drug Abuse…
(Which is Non Compensated…)
(Meaning no upgrade in % for it…)

You can contact me through this site…
