They have found out, based on the surveys carried out, that an estimated 50% of 16-29 year olds have used drugs in the last year. If thats taken down to a slightly younger age range of 16-24 year olds it works out that 1 in 5 have used drugs in the last month. If you then look at younger ages further still, a survey carried out by the NHS, detailing over 40000 young people, they found that at the age of 15 27 % of children have already used drugs.
