If you were to go to an adult high school program or get a GED you could get into an RN program technical college or community college.
Some technical colleges and community colleges offer programs to prepare drug abuse counselors. I think it would be very hard to get a job in counseling based on enrollment in online classes. In counseling there is a lot of role-playing and group work. People who want to be counselors learn about body language, both their own and the clients’. The class becomes a group, and class members take turns leading it to improve their group facilitation skills. It is just not something you can practice online.
Associate degree programs are two year programs. Eventually you may want to go on to get a graduate degree.
