    That might be true for drinking but for other drugs such as heroin it’s a completely different story. Imagine waking up every morning with the worst case of the flu you’ve ever had? x 10. Totally sick, vomiting, sneezing, chills then fever, then fever then chills, your whole body aches and the only way to get through the day without wanting to die is to put a needle in your arm. People do care especially your friends and family. “Why fight it ?” – you say: Because death really isn’t better.
