perhaps, rehab could be an option. Drug addictions are dangerous and need to be dealt with by professionals.

It’s a long story but I’ve flown all over the world and was never scared and then I had a terrible flight with turbulence and in the middle of it, we descended very fast, downwards. The pilot didn’t come on the PA system so I thought we were crashing. I flew a few times after that but it was always horrific for me. I can’t breath, my heart races and I just want off the plane, even out the door, if I could. The last time I flew, I had a AZ layover and didn’t get back on the plane. It took me a train and 2 rental cars to get back to DC. My question..Is this fixable? Talking to people doesn’t work because they can’t promise the plane I’m on won’t crash. Drugs, No, I’m afraid if I’m out of it when the plane crashes, I won’t be able to get off safely. Meditation, No. Nothing works. The thing people don’t understand is that *I’m not afraid the plane will crash, when I’m on a plane, in my mind, it is crashing.* I’m just waiting for the impact. I missed my own brother’s wedding in CA! Help!
I’m a logical person and know that planes are safer than cars but if you someone said fly to CA and back or give up one year of your life. I would lose the year. It’s an irrational fear. This much I know, I just don’t know how to fix it.

My friend was convicted of a DWI for drinking and driving… He lost his license for 7 months and also has to attend a 12 hour Intoxication driving program. 2 days each of 6 hour classes… He asked me if they drug test because he smokes pot alot… I told him I havnt a clue seeing I do not do drugs or am going to the program myself but let him know yahoo answers would help him out 😉 Thanks guys!

I’m on probation for possession of marijuana in VA; I was ordered to go to a treatment center to complete an assessment, and although I lied and made it seem like I wasn’t a heavy marijuana user, I was still ordered to complete a 16 week substance abuse class. We get tested weekly and our urine is sent to a lab. So not only can I not smoke pot, I also can’t even drink alcohol (which in my opinion is far worse than pot). I just had my 21st birthday a couple of months ago and I’m constantly being invited to bars, now that it’s legal for me to go. But “nope, sorry guys, I’m not allowed to drink”. I think it’s bullsh*t, because I was only busted with less than half a gram of bud, and I have to do 6 months of probation, color code, and now this damn class. I called the 24 hour hotline thru this treatment center, and explained to them that I was in a lot of emotional pain, and that I really just wanted to smoke to numb the pain. They really couldn’t offer me any advice other than suggesting I go to an in-patient rehabilitation center. I blew it off, because nothing is going to make me NOT want to smoke. However, after thinking it over some more after I got off the phone, I’m wondering if I could do this rehab thing, and then not have to complete my 16 week class and get off probation early. I’ve thought about how to talk to the substance abuse counselor about it, saying such things as “my issues go so much more personal than I’d like to discuss in group, and I feel as though this would be extremely beneficial for me”. But the last thing I’d want is to go to rehab for a flippin month, and then still have to do this class once I was released from rehab. But I’m not so sure how to bring that up to her, without sounding like I’m using the rehab idea so I can smoke sooner and get around doing this freakin class. I also wouldn’t mind a vacation from my life as it currently is, so I could use the rehab to get away from temptation. But I don’t want to tell her that either. Help?

of this year.
on that date, my daughter came home stating her father had physically hit her on the back of the head (where she had 3 staples in to close up a cut she received after being pushed by a cousin at her uncle’s house on her dad’s side of the family) b/c he got angry at her for not sticking with a lie he had made up about her being sick so that I would come pick her up from his house instead of him having to take her to school. I currently have temporary full custody of my daughter due to an order of protection being passed. I also called CPS and filed a report.

I go to a clinic and their tests are not cheap they can even tell me how many mg of something I took my test is 2 days away and I’ve been taking about 2mg of xanax a day for the past 5 days, due to high anxiety

Xanax is not something that is tested for unless they are looking for it specifically.
