Two men arrested in connection with Richfield murder – “Sun-Current Today TV News Thursday Oct. 1 A tip has led to the arrest of two men in connection with a robbery and homicide at a Richfield pawnshop. Calvin Lee Anderson, 46, and Johnny Lawvell Perry, 30 were arrested Tuesday, Sept. 29, one day after a robbery at AVIs Pawn and Jewelry Shop, 6414 Nicollet Ave. S. The men were arrested following tips from the public, according to Lt. Jay Henthorne of the Richfield Police Department. Anderson was arrested in Minneapolis, Perry in St. Paul. A 33-year-old Minneapolis man, a customer at the pawnshop, died from a gunshot wound to the back, sustained during the robbery. An employee of the pawnshop was struck in the arm by a bullet and treated for the wound at Hennepin County Medical Center.
